Project Overview

The Project will consist of a 267 Key JW Marriott branded hotel located in the heart of Dallas CBD (Central Business District). The area to the south contains most of Dallas’ major office buildings. The area to the north includes the city’s cultural district, the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center, Meyerson Symphony Center, and the Winspear Opera House. JW Marriott properties are consistently ranked in the four-star tier by Forbes, falling into the four-diamond class per the AAA. The Project is strategically positioned in the largest employment area in Dallas, with more than 25% of the DFW area’s employment base.
The hotel development is a large part of a J.P. Morgan masterplan development which includes a $140 million renovation of the Trammel Crow Center, chosen as the main office for the consolidation of Goldman Sachs’ regional operations, putting the 500,000 SF office building at 90%+ occupancy. Across the street from the Trammel Crow Center is the completed 2,000 car parking garage which includes 26,000 SF of ground level restaurant-driven retail. On-top of the 10 story parking structure is where the JW Marriot will be built. The JW Marriott will be a mix of 121 King rooms, 118 Double rooms, and 36 suites. The project amenities will include an upscale restaurant, 2 ballrooms, meeting and event space, a rooftop pool, spa and fitness center, as well as a lounge/bar area.
